Deepesh Shah, a qualified Chartered Accountant since 2008, is the founder of Deepesh Shah & Associates, a Mumbai-based firm with two offices serving clients across India and overseas. With over 12 years of rich experience in direct and Indirect tax consulting. Deepesh has developed deep expertise in Domestic and international taxation, and regulatory advisory.
He began his professional journey with Ernst & Young, India, where he gained extensive exposure to corporate and expatriate taxation. Over the years, he has successfully represented both corporates and NRI clients before income tax authorities, involving detailed research, preparation of submissions, and strategic advisory. His professional experience also includes special tax assignments in Africa and advising expatriates deputed to India on tax planning and return filing, coupled with hands-on experience in real estate tax structuring, project funding, RERA compliance, and advisory services for large-scale real estate developments.
Since 2012, Deepesh has been closely associated with tax and funding matters in the real estate sector, bringing together his financial acumen and in-depth understanding of real estate laws, including RERA. His practice also extends to succession planning, including assisting clients in the drafting and preparation of wills.
